XDS LIMITED WARRANTY

Effective for Products Purchased on or After January 1, 2026

This Limited Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for all XDS and X-Lab branded bicycles and framesets, as well as Branta branded components. To be valid, the product must be purchased from an authorized XDS retailer or distributor listed on our global website at www.xds.co. For further information, please contact our help desk.

1. LIFETIME FRAME WARRANTY

Lifetime coverage for the original owner on:

  • XDS & X-Lab frames (carbon and alloy)
  • Rigid forks
  • Branta carbon-rim wheels (structural defects only)

Registration required within 90 days.

If not registered, coverage defaults to 2 years from the original retail purchase date as shown on the date of the original sales purchase invoice.

Frames/forks/rims that were replaced from an approved warranty claim will be eligible to receive the identical warranty coverage as aforementioned.

2. COMPONENT WARRANTY (ORIGINAL OWNER)

2-Year Warranty

  • Handlebars, stems, seatposts
  • Branta alloy wheels & hubs
  • Suspension linkages & hardware
  • E-bike motors, displays, controllers
  • Paint and graphics on frames and frame set

1-Year Warranty

  • Accessories, soft goods, non-structural parts

3. E-BIKE BATTERY WARRANTY

2 Years or up to 500 charge cycles (whichever comes first)

Batteries are designed to retain ≥70% capacity. Normal degradation is not a defect.

4. EXCLUSIONS

Not covered:

A. Damage or Misuse

  • Crashes, impacts, accidents, abuse
  • Improper assembly, torqueing, or maintenance
  • Modifications or incompatible parts

B. Third-Party Components

No warranty on non-XDS/X-Lab/Branta components (e.g., Shimano, SRAM). Covered only by their manufacturers.

C. Cosmetic & Wear Items

  • Rust, fading, discoloration, cosmetic issues
  • Wear items include tires, tubes, spokes, chains, cassettes, brake pads, bearings, grips, cables, baskets, etc.

D. Restricted Use

  • Commercial, rental, fleet, or competitive use (unless otherwise specified)

5. OWNER TRANSFER

Second owners receive:

  • 2-year limited warranty on the frame and XDS-branded fork (structural defects only)

Coverage is based on the original retail purchase date.

Proof of original purchase is required from the original owner or authorized retailer.

No other components are covered for second-hand owners.

6. WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS

You may start a claim:

A. Through an Authorized XDS Dealer

The dealer will inspect the product, submit proof and photos, and return parts if needed.

B. Online

Submit a claim at: www.xds.co.

XDS may, at its discretion:

  • Repair the product, or
  • Replace it with the same or comparable model

Labor, shipping, and service fees may apply.

7. LIMITATIONS

  • Warranty void if serial numbers are removed or altered
  • Incidental or consequential damages are not covered
  • Eligibility determinations are at XDS’s sole discretion
  • Products must be purchased from an authorized XDS retailer/distributor as listed under our global website www.xds.co. For further information, please contact our help desk for support.

8. WARRANTY REGISTRATION

Required for lifetime coverage of frames, forks, and Branta carbon wheels.

Register within 90 days from the date the product was purchased as shown on the date of the original purchase invoice at: www.xds.co.
